The University must develop relevant knowledge for their problems.

►Principles

          • Mission

MUGT's mission is to explore, promote and apply knowledge for social, fourstudents cultural, economic, scientific and technological development on a global scale. The essential ingredient of this mission is to foster international education and collaborative research and to cultivate their transformative potentials in order to energize innovative endeavors as well as advance knowledge-based economic diversification. The University will further advance science and technology through bold and collaborative research. It will address challenges related to resources of regional and global significance. Research excellence will augment the teaching and training of future leaders in science and technology.

The majority of developing country’s universities  are all based on Western academic models and traditions and universities of the 21st century are increasingly based on the Western neoliberal values and traditionally they Mimic courses among developing country’s universities. Developing countries could make progress in science and technology, if universities stopped mimicking their counterparts in developed countries. They must develop relevant knowledge for their problems. Countries with strong public education systems, including specifically strong public higher education systems, have the capacity to ensure harmony, peace and prosperity among and to their people.

The creation of an equitable and just society also requires an equitable and non-discriminatory education system, where people from different strata of society enjoy equal opportunities to pursue their educational aspirations, to become effective partners in development and to contribute to the development of a humane society. Elitist and authoritarian systems of education do not contribute towards this goal. Market-based models of education systems that rely on financing by students and private players hinder the growth of an equitable education system and a just society.

The educational standards will be fully accredited and approved. Great emphases are placed on developing students' personality and character as regards ethics, honesty, integrity and high moral standards.

  • Supporting developing countries regional integration

Work with a network of institutions in a collaborative initiative aimed at enhancing the generation and dissemination of research related to regional integration, that is: A GLOBAL TEAMING’S mission to incorporate a Modern University of Science, Technology and Innovation as well as research networks.

It is long overdue to activate the huge number of recommendations produced in High Education Conferences and revive curriculums to match the technological innovations advanced by the day. Some of these recommendations were:

  • Stop producing thinkers. We already have enough thinkers
  • What is required now are people who can do the work; People with enough knowledge of the job skills.
  • Teaching strategy should produce people ready for the job market.
  • The increased number of jobless youth in developing countries will continue to double or even triple annually to alarming rates, unless institutions of higher learning revise their curriculum to start teaching on-the-job skills as opposed to academic-based programs.^51AB89A26BCF25948956A8297FD7E8976B62B59A790711F822^pimgpsh_fullsize_distr

As a new house of wisdom, MUGT strives to become a community of excellence, a beacon of peace, hope, sharing and reconciliation to the benefit of our global community. The University is concerned with theCommunication finding and promoting of solutions to the problems of local region, country and the international community. It will play a prominent role in providing communication in scientific, cultural and social fields. Providing the necessary scholarship support for students in need will be one of the University's cherished duties.

While some societies aim at creating a balance between materialistic values and intangible basic human values, MUGT is a University of equity, justice, compassion, caring and harmony as were the underpinning values of the ancient universities in Developed countries.

Even though the majority of Developing Countries consisted of populations with diverse rich civilizations, cultures, religions, ethnicities and faiths, their development paths is still deeply embedded in values such as peace, prosperity and human welfare. The creation of a humane and just society is an important objective of education at MUGT.

  • Noble virtue of learning

A driving goal for MUGT is to rekindle and spread the great scientific advancements all over the Regions of Developing Countries that will characterize their existence as contributors to the world technology and production.

These productions will illustrate the immense contribution’s thinkers and researchers of these Countries have to share in the fields of science, technology, medicine, arts, sociology, music, and agriculture, etc.

►Technology Innovation in Higher Education

For the past few years, Innovative Startups have focus on Smart Educational Methods. A Revolution has begun in Higher Education, in response to twenty-first-century needs, through introducing new ways to disseminate knowledge and better ways to learn at lower cost.

Globally, the current system of higher education is clearly unsustainable. The Majority of Education Institutes are in financial crisis; Tuition rises inexorably; Graduates of reputable schools often fail to learn basic skills, and many cannot find suitable jobs. In addition to, the dilemma employers face on a daily basis because of the quality of graduates leaving universities with little or no idea at all on professions of their passion, other than the impressive qualifications they hold. Meanwhile, student-loan default rates have soared.

The invention of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) by professors at Stanford and MIT; Salman Khan’s Khan Academy; the use of technology by struggling historically black colleges and universities to make learning more accessible; and the latest research on learning and the brain are a small band of innovators who are bringing the revolution in technology to many schools of Colleges, Universities and other Educational Foundations.Technology

►Link with Industry and Education Institutes

MUGT will strive to have campuses on, and collaborate with structured Universities and high tech Companies with all needed facilities, provided with An Institute - Extension of land dedicated to InLinkcubators, Technology Parks, Innovations Start-Ups and Prototype Projects.

The primary focus for raising capital to enhance education should be to expand and strengthen high-speed broadband internet to all individuals. Education, pre-school to post-baccalaureate, needs to shift to competency-based measures rather than credit based on time in class or on task. People master knowledge at different rates and competency is critical.

Collaboration, globally and across institutions, is key whether it involves researching new knowledge or making knowledge accessible for education. Research facilities are costly and need continuous leveraging. Studies have shown, for student learning, that there is no significant difference in knowledge gained and demonstrated between programs on physical or virtual campuses.

Established universities are finding that raiScreenshot_6sing their research or academic rankings is cost prohibitive. With the ubiquity of broadband internet connectivity, it is becoming easier to build collaborative relationships for both research and education. In an interconnected world, it is cost prohibitive to build or maintain physical facilities that provide the traditional functions of Quality research in all disciplines; fully developed educational programs across all disciplines, and including certification along with community and institutional development programs.

It is far more cost effective to bring the knowledge of individuals to students on campus, at their homes or even in ‘coffee shops’ from selective, globally ranked faculty or through ranked programs than it is to expend funds to bring faculty from across the globe to a central place. These programs can serve many institutions located in many countries, simultaneously leveraging scarce fiscal and physical resources.

►Association of Collaborating Countries

These Countries will manage to forge an association through which they will share resources and expertise, promote academic and student exchanges and conduct research aimed at boosting entrepreneurship, job creation and economic development on their Regions.

MUGT will activate Regional associations that would develop cooperation – particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, small business development, innovation and start-ups – through research, case studies, exchanges and academic materials and publications, professional internships and technical cooperation.

►Gender Gap among University Graduates

The statistics in the majority of Developing Countries and some Developed Countries Educational Institutes mask a large gender gap that deserves notice: the unemployment rate for male university graduates sometimes reaches 4%, whereas females with university degrees suffered a 32% unemployment rate. This gender gap is likely to continue in the coming years. MUGT has a department for keeping equal opportunity in raising the University Graduate’s entrepreneurs with equivalent talents in creativity and innovation necessary for new business startup.
